Checked for her in the 1891 census: Elizabeth Baker born c.1812–1818, anywhere (none born Battle; the Brighton widow aged 77 with daughters Mary A. and Frances is a different family, all born in Brighton); every Elizabeth born Battle c.1812–1818, any surname (none fits; Elizabeth Ransom at Lewes and Elizabeth Inskipp at Hastings are other families); not in her son Richard’s household at 17 Clarence Square, Brighton; her daughter Emily, born c.1846 Alfriston, not found under Baker. Possible deaths on FreeBMD by age: Brighton 1888 Q1 (74), 1891 Q3 (77, Vol 2b, pg 121) and 1893 Q2 (76); Steyning 1891 Q4 (77).
